My main skills is with C++ with Summit and its API's. Obviously, with Summit running on Solaris unix, I have an extensive knowledge of unix and shell scripts; and with their underlying storage on a Sybase SQL Server, I have a very good command of SQL/Transact-SQL as well.

At Abbey National, I got involved with administration of NEON (New Era of Networks) and their message Broker integration with Summit. This was a rule-based system to analyse incoming ANTS-format messages to determine which system they should go to and use rules set in in the NEON database to forward them to their respective end-systems. Abbey also bought Wall Street - another trading system running on Solaris, but using Oracle database. It wasn't a good system though.
